I often go in the early morning to the this place on Loch Ness for a swim in the cool waters. My love of water has meant that not only is it the sole focus of my landscape photography, but I've always surfed, paddle boarded and swum throughout my life. A few years ago I started wild swimming. Cold water swimming has been proven to boost circulation and the immune system, lower blood pressure and stress levels. I am usually alone. The stillness and quiet is overwhelmingly peaceful and the immersion in nature doesn't get much more intense.
