The beauty and intrigue of the Hebridean islands has inspired musicians, poets, artists, writers, performers and all manner of creatively motivated people throughout the centuries. It's not difficult to see why. Its attractions are many, but for me the most alluring fascination is the water. From the gentle turquoise of the ocean lapping on the pale gold sands of Scarista Beach to the silver light on the flower-filled lochs,whenever I visited I am instantly and completely enthralled.
