"Although, if pressed, I would probably nominate winter as beingmy favourite season, the cheering allure of the first smell of spring cannot be denied. It seems to be the absolute antithesis of what has gone before. Bare and skeletal branches, with little enthusiasm for life are suddenly overtaken by generous, exuberant and passionate display of prosperity.
Spring to me is a mad, reckless, chaotic, egotistic time of year where new life emerges and nature gets to show off. It is the confidence and justifiable ostentation that I have tried to capture in this series of images." Valda Bailey
