Still spindrift. A lifelong love and knowledge of waves, years of surfing and many more spent watching them turn. Spindrift is the ultimate goal for me. Spindrift is the spray created from waves as they turn and it happens only under certain conditions. On this day, the spindrift was close to twice the height of the wave. It rarely gets much better for me - my heart was filled with a sense of delight and peace and I could have watched all day. I did in fact, shoot all day on this beach.
