Photography and memory are so intertwined. When you make an image, you capture a memory in time as well. The memory attached to this image for me is of being exhausted, arriving at the beach and feeling like I could breathe again. I sat for an hour just watching the waves roll in gently, all the while enjoying being able to take my time after a busy week. The resulting images have a feel of soft gentle quietude.
