It can be easy to lose perspective when working alone on a big project, and sometimes a constructive critique can be invaluable in order to curate the right images to fulfil a creative brief, and which work as a set when presenting an exhibition or book project.
I have assisted artists at all stages of their projects over the years, providing help to articulate their creative brief and objective, formulate their ideas and choose a theme/title for an exhibition or book, through to image selection and their order of presentation, digital restoration/retouching and preparation of files for print, help writing the accompanying artist statements and stories/critical introductions that sit with the photographs.
