Nazare is blessed with some of the biggest waves in Europe and they are already well-photographed. Preferring to do something different, I chose an aerial perspective and concentrated on the chaotic yet beautiful patterns within the surf. Although from a distance the waves looked similar, a closer view revealed that each one had its own pattern, as unique as a snowflake.
