There is no doubt that my passion for regimented trees comes from the direct influence of the great American landscape photography Ansel Adams. The youthful silver trees play a key role in my pursuit of a degree of order and repetition. There are times where I would like every tree to be identifiable with no masking of its neighbour, but in this case it would have been impossible to present each tree as an individual.
