"If the building cumulus clouds had not been evident, then I would have felt disinclined to
make a photograph here. It is the rapid expansive and explosive feel that characterises these
cloud formations that I was always find so thrilling.
The stained patina on building walls were also a reason to decide to photograph and the
small black window was a gesture that confirmed that I should at least try to do so. So
much contemporary urban office and residential architecture may have many hundreds of
windows and here I found a series of squares and rectangles with simply one.
Each wall face had a different angle and surprisingly I found the aesthetics hugely refreshing
and the lack of decoration restful and satisfying." Charlie Waite
